Lifen Zhang

Professor Lifen Zhang is a Professor in School of Journalism, Fudan University, China. He received his Bachelor Degree in Journalism from Fudan University and PhD degree in Communications from Leicester University in England. He had previously served as Senior Journalist/Producer at BBC World Service in London, Founding Editor of FTChinese.com and Associate Editor of the Financial Times in London. Professor Zhang has received international journalism awards including the SOPA (the top Asia press prize) and the State Street Award for Outstanding Contribution to Institutional Journalism. In addition, he has also held various visiting positions at universities internationally, such as University of Oxford and HKU.
