Master of Journalism — AI and Innovation Concentration (MJ-AIC)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is drastically changing the world we live in, and it also brings transformative changes to journalism and media practices. To prepare our graduates for the age of A.I., the JMSC is launching a new A.I. and Innovation concentration.
The MJ-AIC* is a new certificate programme introduced for the 2025-2026 academic year within the existing Master of Journalism degree curriculum.
The MJ-AIC provides students with foundational knowledge of A.I. and an overview of the latest technology developments as well as its impact on journalism and media. It also offers practical training that aims to enable students to have hands-on skills with the latest A.I. tools to assist their work.
MJ-AIC students will
- Meet all the graduation requirements for a standard MJ programme
- Complete at least three courses focused on A.I. and Innovation topics
- Deliver capstone projects that reflect knowledge and skills on A.I. and Innovation
