Mr. Wang Feng has 26 years of experience in the news and media industry. He has worked for the Financial Times as Editor in Chief of FTChinese.com since April 2015. Previously, he worked as Online Editor at the South China Morning Post, overseeing content operations on all the Post's digital platforms. He had also worked as founding editor of Reuters Chinese news portal, Editor in Charge of Reuters Chinese News Service, and a senior editor at Caijing Magazine in Beijing. He holds a Master’s degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in English from Peking University.
In recent years, Mr. Wang has taught journalism in an adjunct capacity at some of Greater China's top journalism schools, including JMSC of Hong Kong University, the Global Business Journalism program at Tsinghua University, and as an extra-curricular tutor for Master's students at Hong Kong Baptist University. He specializes in business news reporting and writing, as well as the application of AI and OSINT (open-source intelligence) in business and investigative journalism.
